Seems water baptism is really getting a lot of attention, folks are searching the scriptures and finding out what the Bible says and not what tradition says.

This might shock a few … but If you didn’t know this… you might want to check it out…

From the scriptures we see that the Word of God is very clear on the doctrine of baptism:

– Baptism is to be preceded by believing and repentance.

– Baptism is for salvation.

– Baptism is for the remission of sins.

– We are to be baptised in name of the Lord Jesus Christ, NOT Father, Son and Holy Ghost..

– Baptism is to be by immersion in water.

– It is part of the Gospel plan Death, Burial and Resurrection which we obey through Repentance, Baptism and Receiving the Holy Ghost.

– It is not a method of joining a local church.

– Baptism was not for infants.

We should desire to do things the scriptural way rather than cling to denominational church tradition!
